Haute-Future

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

This is a project for the future. What you would bring to the future if you had the chance to travel in time? “Haute-Future” is a collection based on the tradition of Haute Couture using only recycled materials to protect ourselves today for a better tomorrow without forgetting our roots.

INSPIRATION

 

Starting from an imaginary trip between different times my inspiration takes start from a lady of the 60’s obliged for live in a polluted futuristic world without giving up to the beauty and quality of Haute Couture that I found very connected to the work of the artist Georgina Gatrix.

MATERIALS USED

All the materials that I used can be recycled or coming from recycled materials such as Lycra, hard plastic, rhinestones or even more simply left over stocked vintage sequins fabrics, furnishing fabrics (red coat), a bread basket used a head-piece and a wig from the drag world.
