DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

Agender and timeless accessory, based on the present-past-future continuity. Each main piece is formed by two identical parts that can be used separately (clutch) or together( bracelet – bag).All of these parts are interchangeable and combinable.

INSPIRATION

 

ASSEMBLY AND ARTICULATION

-Past : Triadishes Ballet ( Schlemer, 1922).Costume design based on the union between different geometrical shapes

-Future: Cyborgs. Conception of the accessory as an extension of the body. My leit motiv is the notion of the accessory as an articulated and assemblable fraction of human physiognomy.

MATERIALS USED

Papier mâché, as a base to give stiffness to the pieces.

Foam, for a cushioning effect.

Metal in joints and handles

White sheep leather, as I consider it transmits fragility, quality, purity and elegance to a piece that means to be timeless and agender.
