BBK and BIAAF Launch the 2026 Scholarship Call for Central Saint Martins

BBK and Bilbao International Art & Fashion (BIAAF) offer you the opportunity to experience a unique educational journey at Central Saint Martins, one of the world’s most influential schools of fashion and design.

During two weeks of creative immersion in London, you will work on your own personal project within the framework of the “Transmissions” universe of the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum, exploring new ways to develop ideas, construct garments, and communicate your vision as a designer.

What will you experience during the course?

An intensive programme designed for designers who want to deepen their creative process and take their projects to the next level. You will work from visual and narrative research through to the materialisation of a three-dimensional proposal, developing a solid and contemporary working methodology.

  • Creative direction and concept development.
  • Experimentation, innovation, and volume construction.
  • 3D design processes on the mannequin.
  • Technical development and pattern cutting.
  • Collage, drawing, and portfolio creation.
  • Transforming an idea into a tangible design proposal.

Throughout the course, you will build a personal portfolio documenting your creative process, including references, research, volume experiments, silhouettes, construction techniques, and technical development.

In addition, you will work alongside specialised tutors in design, pattern cutting, and garment construction to transform your ideas into a toile, gaining an understanding of the garment through its structure, proportions, and behaviour on the body.

Who is it for?

  • Young designers from Bizkaia aged between 18 and 35.
  • Individuals with advanced training in fashion design.
  • Those interested in developing a creative project.
  • Applicants with a good command of English.

Duration

  • Two intensive weeks in London.
