Bilbao International Art And Fashion

The Creativity World Forum 2024 DC Living Labs TA4 Education Challenge has just concluded. The focus included creating cutting-edge biomaterials for fashion using virtual tools and nearby business resources, engaging students in hands-on projects transforming local industry waste into sustainable materials, and addressing the shift towards sustainability in fashion through innovative educational programs.

The group of students who were developing the challenge, under the mentoring of Elisa Palomino in collaboration with BIAAF, is composed of:

They explained their proposal to address the aforementioned challenge by using virtual tools and natural resources from nearby companies to create biomaterials for the fashion industry. To this end, they are developing an app, called Waste, which will gather content related to the topic, such as tutorials on the creation of biomaterials and possible local workshops and events.
