Scholarships
Betting on homeground talent
One of BIAAF’s goals is to encourage innovation and creativity among homegrown, local fashion talents, providing them with bespoke learning experiences.
Thanks to the support of the BBK Foundation, young creatives learn from some of the most innovative academics, consultants, designers and artists in the world.
This unique scholarship program aims to promote employability and skills training for these young creatives.
Transmissions
Heritage and new creation
BIAAF takes part in TRANSMISSIONS, an educational project founded by the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum, to provide with a first-hand, immersive experience in the Balenciaga’s universe through research, reflection and creation.
In order to share knowledge of Balenciaga’s work, technique and values with present and future creators, the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum appoints local fashion designers selected by BIAAF, along with academics and students coming from international fashion schools to take part in this program.
