The collection enables to tell my personal story, about the emotions I felt when I realized I’m a lesbian, my military service in a male-dominated environment, and the significance of living in a country with mandatory conscription. The colors were taken from the paintings of the artist Judith Bernstein

I create by using military materials, such as nylons and camouflage nets, which, by changing their purpose and place, take on a new meaning. In addition, use iconic items associated with the lesbian community such as the Perfecto jacket, faux leather and binder used by lesbians to flatten the chest
