“Circulation” is a women’s wear collection inspired by human anatomy from a personal perspective. I was interested in the blood and circulatory system, internal organs, bones, muscles, different skin colors and body textures from the inside to the outside. All these elements were translated into my visual language through prints, embroidery, volume, and textures. The color palette is consisting of different shades of skin colors along with red and black.

Nevertheless, the inspiration process is based on photographs and illustrations taken from old medical books that I have cut and pasted into new collages in order to create different shapes, colors, and body structures. I was mainly interested in the connection and synergy between my body and my soul and tried to imagine how would it look like and to translate my imagination into reality.

In order to reflect my concept, I used printed fabrics all over the garments. The prints gave me the freedom to create a unique fabric with beads and threads’ embroidery on top. For the lining,I used drill cotton and silk.
