Glasswear
Each look of her works is inspired by a glass muse, influencing silhouettes, prints and
patterns. To add sophisticated details, this new material is applied in a variety of created
processes like floral craftsmanship, laser cutting, weaving and uv printing. The optical lens is
designed to create visual movement, revealing glasswares’ colours, forms, and details.
“My collection aims to present in colours, crafted and identifiable glass I collected and
observed throughout my lives in London, Paris and China. I often stop to look at the shiny
glass catch my eyes from anywhere. Pushing my nose up to the glassware to watch. I want to
share the beauties I observed through my designs to other people”.
The glassiness of the collection is reached by her self-made material Bioplastic. The material
is coloured by the plants dyes. Other fabrics she used are recycled polyester satin. And the
beads, sequences and feathers from her previous works are recycled and embroidered onto
my pieces.
