Artificial Paradises is a mix collection, where elements that break proportion or conception of the classic suit are introduced. With a high presence of decorative elements, giving a leading role to detail and accessories, renovates traditional elements in fashion history adding elements linked to the femenine universe to the masculine wardrobe.
Artificial paradises is inspired by Italo Calvino’s “Invisible Cities” a book composed by a series of travel journals that Marco Polo writes for Kublai Khan, Emperor of the Tartars. Each look recreates a city that he discovers , mixing real daily life elements with other more dreamy ones.
The collection presents a great variey of materials and fabrics. From cotton to velvet, wool… trying to escape from the conventional graphics, elements of the fabric are drawn by using felt cuttings and others have been hand painted. The hats are unique hand made pieces.
