The collection „WARFLOWER“ is for all those, and especially my family, who have experienced the terrible Yugoslav war. This war is the reason why I am where I am right now. My family left everything behind to begin a new life full of hope somewhere in the wide world.

My main inspiration is my family, who had to flee from their country to build a better future for themselves and their family. Today the wounds of the past are still there, but after some time beautiful flowers grew around them and filled them with new hope and joy.

I mostly used a big old tank cover as well as old, recycled table cloths that have stitched flowers on them, which represent the warflower in contrast to the military elements. Moreover, I implemented a lot of white cotton, as white is the color of peace and positivity.
