Research, analysis, introspection and experimentation after visiting several museums led me to develop garments that are functional and simple at mere sight but complex when planning and constructing.Composed by silhouettes that flow in harmony with the body lines and that also allow materials take their own course.
Greek sculpture. I find its preciseness and technique fascinating, specially the pleats in the garments accompanying most of these sculptures.I used them for my collection, integrating them in daily pieces, that remind us of the past to keep looking towards the future.
Mostly plain fabrics in natural fibres :cotton and rayon with a waxed surface or with a slight shinny finish, refering to the nature of the materials used for sculpting.I have also used taffeta, organza and knitted fabric. Some of them are blended fabrics with a high percentage of polyester to get a better quality in the digital print and sublimation processes.
