Making treasure out of trash. We wear the legacy of daily life moments. By using found objects, She creates treasure chests that encapsulate the memories, dreams, and desires of the persons who lost, or discarded these items. She brings these unique objects back to life as wearable contemporary art pieces.
Taking the shape from organic sculptures that we see in the environment – like human bodies, sea animals, and in contrast, from daily life objects – wearable out of things other humans lose or throw away. This jewellery translates the energy, and this interwoven story becomes a powerful garment.
Using collected waste yarns from sewing/knitting machines etc, recycled cotton yarn, collected bottle caps from all over the world, abalone shell beads (self-collected/made), jewellery made from street-found objects, tree bark, bio leather, sofa fabric found from bin, using fabric dye from waste/collective material like plants.
