After defining the theme and concept, cicadas were selected as the central motif. Designs were developed and wing-like details were created using filament and a 3D pen. Through the formation and layering of curved elements, a three-dimensional piece was constructed expressing transformation, fragility, and strength.

The project is inspired by the way people in modern society hide their true selves out of fear. Observing cicadas, which spend years in darkness before briefly emerging, leads to reflections on courage, transformation, and the value of living authentically.
