KOKUEN consists of 3 different outfits. Its meaning… black smoke. Black plays a key role within the Arts. In Prehistory, black colors could be easily found in nature, charcoal, soot or pyrolusite. Nowadays we count with a high variety of black pigments, from color mixings to synthetic pigments such as aniline black, opening a door to artistic expression that we continue exploring nowadays: tha black monochrome.

All garments are made combining neoprene, imitation leather, gauze, satin, rivets… with other materials materials such as hand stitched beads to create textures out of its original contexts and therefore create new codes. All these elements bring “KOKUEN” to life, a sober collection, full of details and totally handmade, surprising and versatile.
