The work explores the boundary between fashion, sculpture, and storytelling through experimental shoemaking. Wearable pieces transform the body into a narrative space, combining handcrafted techniques, reclaimed materials, and dreamlike imagery inspired by decorative arts, theatre, and surreal worlds.
The work is inspired by William Morris and his abundant plant and bird patterns, which form the starting point of the story. Carved wooden armchairs inspire new ways of working with leather, while the dreamlike and surreal paintings of Naudline Pierre help build a colorful universe suspended between reality and imagination.
Reclaimed textiles and fibers are used, dyed and embroidered, combined with hand-shaped leather. Vegetable-tanned leather is engraved, polished, and molded. Cork forms the inner structure of the shoe. Through craftsmanship, materials are transformed by combining sustainability, tactile richness, and experimental making techniques.
