The work consists of hand drawn prints, objects and 2D and 3D elements that have the same hierarchical value. In a traditional fashion collection, 2D belongs to the research process and 3D to the clothes in movement; her work also reverses this narrative by implementing her 2D shapes in silhouette and print. A collection almost entirely made out of waste material.
A collection inspired by her grandmother’s extravagance with the need to keep up her appearance. The psychological influence of status aligned with the abundance of contrast in our values and the irony of its expressions. Abstract drawings evolved to innovative shapes which are implemented in silhouette and print
Her fabrics are sourced from second hand shops and she work a lot with dead stock material from Italy. Which contains silk, cotton and recycled plastics. She works together with a sustainable sublimation printer company. Her printed garments are made out of RPET (recycled PET-Polyester), organic cottons and Tencell.
