A retrospective pays homage to the spanish designer

Spanish fashion magazine Telva opens its new
project in Madrid this month, called Telva Tribute, which each year will pay
homage to a designer’s career through a retrospective exhibition. For its first
year, the tribute focuses on Paco Rabbane and can be visited, for free, until
June 25th at the Real Academia de las Bellas Artes de San Fernando
(Madrid).

The exhibition displays 25 iconic pieces from
the house archives, including original designs from the Spanish designer and
creations from their current art director, Julien Dossena. Moreover,
photographs depicting the label’s history will be showcased, showing icons like
Jane Birkin and Françoise Hardy modeling their clothes. A videowall projection
will also show the documentary directed by Borja Zausen specially for the
occasion.
