DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

A genderless collection, that showcases alternative ways to assemble familiar garments – such as the trench coat and the tailored suit, by using experimental cuts, draping, and fabric manipulations. It incorporates casual wear and tailoring, and mixes feminine and masculine elements, regardless to the gender of the wearer.

INSPIRATION

 

For 500 million years, life on Earth advanced according to the rules of evolution. Some would argue, that in the short time that man has been present on Earth, he detached himself from the rules of evolution and developed the ability to control it.

MATERIALS USED

The collection consists of natural materials, such as wool and cotton. Some materials are used for garments they are not originally meant for, resulting in a new form of something familiar. Different textile manipulations reveal the fibers of the fabrics, and parts of the garments are colored in green luminescent color.
