Cadavre Exquis

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

Cadavre Exquis is a collection made up of found textiles that, leaving behind their initial function, form part of a new design that is committed to Upcycling.

INSPIRATION

 

I have been inspired by the parlor game adopted by surrealist artists in 1925 and by the vitality and color of the characters at the carnival in Lantz (Navarra).

MATERIALS USED

Cotton textiles from curtains, tablecloths and sheets. Fragments of children’s clothing and shirts (wool and cotton) reconverted into part of a new piece.
