DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

Poetic brutality and the death of a rabbit is a queer “menswear” collection that show the ambivalence of religious depictions and creates a world of opulence and sexuality with a queer flair.

INSPIRATION

 

The collection was inspired by the elements of death and homo-erotism within catholic baroque paintings, such as the work of Caravaggio. Mixed with elements of queer culture, nightlife and fetish.

MATERIALS USED

The core of the collection is Silk based combined with different satins, and latex with accents of leather and Plexiglas.
