DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

 

My collection is using one of surrealistic technics- collage to create a new asymmetrical silhouette and choosing special texture fabric and techniques such as beading, heat transfer to symbolize a part of animal. Within the universe, there might be rules that you follow or you could lead your own path and find new possibilities to shine yourself.

INSPIRATION

 

Inspired by the movie which describes in the near future world, single people are forced to find mates who have similar characteristics to yours within 45 days, or be turned into an animal and exiled to forest; meanwhile, in the deepest of the forest has the extremely opposite to the “couple world”- being single is the only way to survive.

To be, or not to be, that’s a question.

MATERIALS USED

Fabric: Knit fabric, faux fur

Hardware: bead, tube bead, metal tri-glide buckle, snap button, o ring, invisible zipper

Heat transfer foil: wrapping paper.
