Renacimiento Impresionista

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK

Loom with different threads with a definite base pattern. The color appears through fringes who imitate pointillism. Using primary colors there is a representation of nature invasion. Colors that change depending on the light and distance in the moment you see the garments.

INSPIRATION

Impressionism and hiperconsumism.

Snakes, insects and vegetation, interpreted by pointillism in the loom. They invade and destroy the garment created by the human.

We live anesthetized under the maxi production and the ecosystem destruction. This project attempts to criticize the fast fashion, and give importance to the handcrafts.

MATERIALS USED

Loom: 100% cotton threads and ropes.

Warp: Acrylic thread

There is no waste of material, they are sustainable garments.
